After a rough start to the year, dropping 2 of 3 to the Long Beach Bombers, the Flyers are back on track having completed their second series sweep in a row this past weekend against the Seattle Totems. With a combined score of 22-2 over three games, the Flyers dominated throughout the whole weekend with every single Flyers player registering at least one point on the weekend. Between the pipes this weekend, Joakim Blomgren and Garret Kingsbury also had standout performances. Blomgren started the first two games for the Flyers, shutting out the Totems 7-0 on Friday night and stopping 14/16 shots on Saturday in an 8-2 win. Garrett Kingsbury registered his 11th shutout of the year on Sunday in another 7-0 victory. After two successful weekends for the Flyers, they look to continue the win streak as they head off to Sin City to take on the Las Vegas Storm. See the team back in action February 2-4.
